Governor Jennifer M. Granholm initiated Buy Michigan First to encourage Michigan businesses, including underrepresented vendor groups, to register with the State as vendors and bid on more more than 1,100 contract opportunities worth billions of dollars.

A pre-qualification program that provides fast turn-around bids for the successful and efficient implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. For Vendors. For Local Units of Government and State Agencies

Contracts cover janitorial services, rubbish removal, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and security guard services for state agencies.
