| Changes To Texas Hold'em |
|
The following is a summary of changes made to the Texas Hold'em Tournament
and Fixed Limit directives:
- Only members of the organization may handle cash, chips, collection of
the rake, or completion of game records. A non-member working as a dealer
may still collect the required house rake prior to the start of each hand.
- Check raising is now allowed in Fixed Limit.
- A supplier, their agent, or employee, may not play or deal cards at a
licensed gaming event where they are providing equipment and/or services.
- A location owner, their agent, or employee, may not play or deal cards
at a millionaire party licensed at their location.
- A location owner may advertise a licensed gaming event conducted at
their location if the advertisement includes the name of the licensee, the
license number, and the purpose for which the proceeds will be used.
- If a location is shared by more than 1 millionaire party licensee,
- Each licensee shall use different chips.
- Each licensee shall be accountable for their own game records
and deposit.
- Workers may only be paid by 1 licensee.
- House rules must be on 8 ½ x 11 paper and must be available to all
players.
