DEQ-DNR (DNRE) Merger Information Page

On October 8, 2009, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm issued Executive Order 2009-45 which will merge the operations of the Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Natural Resources into a new Department of Natural Resources and Environment. This space has been set aside to communicate news on the DEQ-DNR merger/transition in a timely and easily accessible fashion. The new department is set to be called DNRE. Watch this space for updates.
