Nonpoint Source Program Plan

The DEQ Nonpoint Source (NPS) Program is taking continuous public comments on the Nonpoint Source Program Plan. The NPS Program Plan guides the direction and activities of NPS staff in both the Central and District offices by detailing short- and long-term goals and objectives for water quality protection in Michigan.

The Program Plan is available for review by clicking on the program plan at the bottom of this page.

The program welcomes comments on any and all sections of this plan. Please forward comments to DEQ-NPS-Program@michigan.gov. The MDEQ will review and respond to your comments. Thank you.
