ADULT FOSTER CARE:

Due to a high volume of pending AFC applications and the Division's limited resources, an AFC applicant can expect a waiting period of approximately 6 to 12 months before an original AFC license may be issued. Waiting periods may vary depending on complaint activity, workloads of local health authorities and the Bureau of Fire Services, and the timeliness of applicant compliance.
