Oliver Appointed to the Dickinson County DHS Board

Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) director Marianne Udow announced today the appointment of Barbara Oliver of Kingsford as the state appointee to the Dickinson County Department of Human Services board for a term expiring October 31, 2006.

The three-member DHS board represents the community in an advisory capacity to the county agency. The County Board of Commissioners appoints two members and the third is appointed by the state DHS director.

Udow said, "County DHS board members play an important role in the successful delivery of financial and family independence services to residents of Dickinson County."
