Michigan's Enterprise Architecture

Michigan's Enterprise Architecture Strategic Approach thoroughly documents how Michigan chooses the technology most appropriate for serving citizens and businesses. This document begins by describing the framework used, which begins with learning what Michigan's agencies and citizens need. These needs drive the identification of what information and technology are needed as well as what form they should take. This framework is further defined with descriptions of where Michigan stands today, where it needs to be tomorrow, and the action items required to reach tomorrow's vision.

Following the explanation of Michigan's framework, the processes, organizational structure, and tools used to bring the framework to life are described. The Strategic Appproach document concludes with appendices containing detailed descriptions of both the framework and tools.

The most up-to-date results of the Enterprise Architecture are posted on the MDIT Policies and Standards page.
