Loan officer registration is regulated under the Mortgage Brokers, Lenders, and Servicers Licensing Act, Secondary Mortgage Loan Act, and the Consumer Financial Services Act.
A loan officer registrant is an individual employed or engaged as an agent to originate 1st lien mortgage loans for a licensee or registrant.
