Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced Monday, September 14, 2009, that more than $354 million in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is being awarded to 22 states to support energy efficiency and conservation activities.

Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant Michigan Initiative
On March 27, 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released the guidelines and the funding allocations for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) portion of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) 2009.
EECBG Appeals Notification
DOE has announced an appeals process for eligibility determinations published in the funding opportunity announcement issued under the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. This notice specifies the issues that can be appeals, and the procedure applicable to adjudicate such appeals.
