• State of Michigan Paper Recycling Program The Department of Management and Budget's Facilities Administration is proud to manage the paper recycling program for all State buildings in the Lansing area and in DMB-managed buildings throughout the State. DMB is dedicated to responsible stewardship of the State's environmental resources and paper recycling is crucial in greening Michigan.
In 2008, a total of 5,310,932 pounds of paper was recycled by state government offices through DMB's contracted recycling services. This is equivalent to saving 8,761 cubic yards of landfill space; 45,135 trees; 1,812,027 gallons of oil; and 18,585,000 gallons of water that would otherwise be used in making new paper. | • Mixed Office Paper recycling label | • White Office Paper recycling label | • Building Recycling Stats |
