Maps for Inland Trout and Salmon Fishing

The color-coded maps developed to assist anglers in locating waters that contain trout/salmon and the regulations that pertain to those lakes/streams can be found online at www.michigan.gov/dnrfishing.

These maps are to be used as a general reference only. For exact boundaries of regulations on stream types 2-7, refer to the county listing of lakes and streams on pages 20-31 of this guide. Type 1 streams are not listed in the text, but they do appear in green on the maps. For a complete listing of all trout streams, refer to FO-210 (available online or at all DNR Fisheries Offices). See pages 32-33 for a description of each Type of regulation.
