Historic Bay Stone Lodge at J.W. Wells State Park

Bay Stone LodgeVisitors to Wells State Park may enjoy a night's stay at the historic Bay Stone Lodge.

Originally built in the 1940s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Lodge served as the park manager's residence until recently. Its hand-hewn beams, hardwood floors and cut-stone fire place are now available for visitors to enjoy through a nightly or weekly rentals.Livingroom

The Lodge sleeps 12 and includes one queen, one twin, one full sleeper sofa, one futon and a twin/full set of bunk beds. Additional amenities include two full bathrooms, a screen porch and a great room.

The kitchen includes all dishes, cutlery, cookware, a microwave, blender, coffee maker and toaster.Even a gas grill is available to help with feeding the crowd on holiday.

Bay Stone KitchenThe Lodge is available for week night rentals at $150 per night.  Weekend and holiday rates are $170 per night. The weekly rate is $1090.   An $8 non-refundable reservation fee is required. Reservations may be made by calling 906-863-9747.

Each visitor will receive one set of bedding and two sets of towels for each week. Maid service is not available and visitors are expected to clean the unit prior to departure. All cleaning supplies are provided.Bay Stone screened-in-porch
