Historic Building Restored and Becomes a Rental Cabin at Harrisville State Park

Built in 1952, Sunrise cabin is the perfect spot to watch the sun come up over Lake Huron.  Recently restored, this cabin sleeps six people on 3 wooden bunk beds, and boasts a dining table and benches made of cherry wood  from a tree that was brought down in the park by a storm.  The cabin has a woodstove, (firewood is provided for heating in the colder months), outside picnic table, grill and a nearby outhouse. The cabin has no electricity.  Pets and smoking are not allowed.  This cabin is available year round. Reservations for this cabin are made by going online to midnrreservations or by calling 800-447-2757.
