Volunteers design events aimed at getting children outdoors. The fun begins Friday evening with story telling and karaoke and proceeds into Saturday with interpretive programs, storytelling, snipe hunts, pumpkin bowling, teen night, scavenger hunts, crafts and guessing games to list only a few. Each child receives prizes for participation and can take home the craft items they made. Families are also invited to a free continental breakfast Sunday morning. Other things that happen: Campers decorate their campsite Children trick or treat from site to site. Parents go thru A LOT of candy. The weekend is open to registered campers only (two vehicles per site)and traffic is shut down for most of Saturday for safety of the visitors.
