• Michigan Civilian Conservation Corps/AmeriCorps Stewardship Crews
The Parks and Recreation Division seeks qualified applicants to for stewardship crews in this parternship program that prepares young people for future employment and provides educational grants.

• Be Part of the Core Volunteer Steward Program
The Parks and Recreation Division is looking for Core Volunteer Stewards to form teams at several southeast Michigan state parks and recreation areas. Help restore the special, but threatened, natural areas in these state parks as part of a group.

• Use Permits for Natural and Cultural Research in State Parks & Recreation Areas
Conducting research in a state park or recreation area requires a permit. Learn more about how to obtain your permit.

• Native Prairie Seed Collection
The State Park Stewardship Program, is in need of volunteers to hand collect native prairie seed at several state parks and recreation areas throughout the month of October.
