• What is a History Excursion?
A History Excursion is a lot more than just a field trip! History Excursions are a variety of tours and programs offered by the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing for children in a range of grade levels.

• The Extended Experience
History at your place and ours! A docent visits your school and then later leads your class on a museum tour.

• Theme Excursions
These gallery programs focus on specific themes in Michigan history, including lumberjacks, the Underground Railroad and World War II.

• Create-A-Craft
Students enjoy learning about Michigan history while discovering crafts of long ago.
