The Michigan Historical Center Foundation invites you to the 2008 Jingle Ball, a premier holiday event held the night after Silver Bells in the City kicks off the holiday season in mid Michigan. The Jingle Ball raises funds that every year help 80,000 children discover Michigan history. This year, the MHCF is proud to have Jason Colthorp of WILX-TV as host for this gala event.

Here are just some of the highlights you can look forward to at the 2008 Jingle Ball:

  • Valet parking and a luxurious red carpet that leads you and your friends into a world of holiday elegance! (Black tie is encouraged.)
  • Musical entertainment by the Mike Skory Jazz Band, the Earl Nelson Singers and Our Savior Lutheran Adult Hand Bell Choir
  • An array of sumptuous hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
  • A fabulous silent auction for early holiday shopping deals.
  • A classic holiday photo in a Curved Dash Olds (sponsored by Leavenworth Photography), a quirky look at yourself courtesy of caricaturist Dennis Preston and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • The presentation of the 2008 Odyssey Awards, honoring exceptional Michigan history educators. [Who are this year's award winners?]

See the fun we had last year in photos from previous Jingle Ball galas..
