The Center for Education Reform http://edreform.com/
Offers an array of information about charter schools, school choice and various curriculum related reform initiatives. Many Center publications are summarized or excerpted here. The Center has also prepared a list of State Department of Education charter school contacts, national and state organizations and a calendar of events.

Education Commission of the States http://www.ecs.org/ecsmain.asp?page=/html/educationIssues/CharterSchools/CHDB_intro.asp
ECS has analyzed and reported on charter school policies and practices for several years. Now they offer a searchable database of charter school information, including laws and policies in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Using this tool one can also compare up to four factors at a time for two or more states in the database.

This widely read education journal provides an overview of the Charter movement with links to related issues around the nation. On the web site one can also search current and archived Education Week articles on this or any education related topic.

National Education Association http://www.nea.org/charter/
This public education organization provides points of view and links to information opposing both charter schools and school vouchers.

U.S. Charter Schools http://www.uscharterschools.org/
An overview of the charter school movement is provided, along with selected linked reference documents and a resource directory of organizations that provide helpful information to practitioners, policymakers and members of the public who are interested in charter schools.
