Lockwood announces the passage of the supplemental appropriations bill (HB 4311) that returns to the Office of Racing Commissioner (ORC) the authority to operate within the fiscal year (FY) 2010 budget that began October 1, 2009. Live racing and simulcasting will continue at Michigan's horse racing tracks, as per the pre-approved race dates, until further notice.
