Contact:  Andi Brancato (517) 335-5648
Agency: Lottery

LANSING, October 21, 2004 – The Michigan Lottery will be conducting a drawing on Friday, November 12, 2004, to select five finalists who will participate in a grand prize drawing for $2,000,000 in the “Double Millions” and “$2,000,000 Jackpot” Instant games.

The “Double Millions” and “$2,000,000 Jackpot” games are different from most other Michigan Lottery Instant games because the top prize will be awarded through a drawing.

All $1,000 winning tickets for “Double Millions” and “$2,000,000 Jackpot” that are claimed before the close of business on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 will qualify for the drawing. In order to claim a $1,000 prize, winners must redeem their ticket at a Lottery regional office or licensed bank claim center.

The grand prize drawing will be conducted at The Palace of Auburn Hills, during halftime of the Detroit Pistons vs. Indiana Pacers NBA basketball game on Friday, November 19, 2004.

Persons who have winning tickets for the “Double Millions” or “$2,000,000 Jackpot” Instant games and need to find a Lottery regional office or licensed bank claim center can visit the Lottery’s website at www.michigan.gov/lottery or contact the Lottery’s Public Relations division at (517) 373-1237.
