LANSING, November 10, 2004 – A lucky Stevensville woman was “in shock” when she realized she had won
$35,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Cashword Instant game.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said
she plans to pay off debts with her winnings.
The lucky winner purchased her ticket at Nick in Time Food and Beverage, 1733 John Beers
Road, in Stevensville.
Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.5 million.
