LANSING, November 11, 2004 – A lucky Croswell woman couldn’t believe it when she won the top prize of
$31,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Wicked Winnings Instant game.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, is a bookkeeper at Farmer Jack and has been playing the lottery for quite some time.
The 48-year-old winner said she plans to give some of the money to her children to help pay for college. She purchased the winning ticket at
7-Eleven, 2600 S. Telegraph, in Dearborn.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.5 million.
