Lucky man wins $312,525 Fantasy 5 jackpot

LANSING, December 2, 2004 – A very lucky man, who opted to remain anonymous, matched all five numbers in the November 30 Fantasy 5 Online game to win the $312,525 jackpot!

The winning easy-pick ticket was purchased at Mike’s Yale Party Store, 121 S. Main St., in Yale.

The lucky winner, who has been playing the Lottery for years, said he thought he would never win a large jackpot!  He plans on helping his children and spending a small portion of the money on “something foolish”!

Fantasy 5 is the Michigan Lottery’s newest game, which replaced Michigan Roll Down.  Drawings for the game are held seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.5 million.
