LANSING, February 18, 2005 – Two very lucky ladies from the
TJ69 Lottery Club claimed the top $300,000 Super Red Hot Cashword prize.
Tammy Kirgis of Lansing and Judy Barnes of
Holt spent two days screaming after realizing they had won the top prize. The two, who work together at Bob Evans as waitresses, couldn’t believe their luck.
The ladies hid the ticket in a phone book before coming to Lottery Central to claim the ticket. They plan to buy new cars with the money.
The winning ticket was purchased at 7 Eleven 028E, 1997 Aurelius Rd.,
in Holt.
Super Red Hot Cashword is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
