LANSING, September 21, 2005 – A longtime Lottery player cashed in when he matched four of the white balls and the Mega ball in the September 12
Mega Millions drawing to win $10,000.
The Mega Millions prize structure changed beginning with the June 24 drawing when California became part of the Mega Millions game. The previous prize for matching four white balls and the Mega ball was $5,000.
Arthur Gray, who has been playing the Lottery since 1972, said he “felt pretty good” when he checked his ticket by calling the Lottery’s 1-800 number.
He plans to use the prize money to buy some furniture. In his spare time Gray enjoys fishing.
The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Glenn’s Liquor Shop, 20810 Harper Ave.,
in Harper Woods.
