LANSING, December 18, 2006 - A longtime player cashed in when he matched all five numbers in the December 9 Fantasy 5 drawing to win $105,002.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he plays the Lottery regularly and "couldn't believe it" when he saw his numbers in the Lottery's Web site.

He selected his "own pick" numbers from the ages of his family members. 

The winner plans to use the prize money to pay bills, take a vacation and buy a new car.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro-Quad, 20913 Gibralter Rd., in Brownstown Township.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
