4-Way prize claimed

LANSING, May 30, 2007 - A very lucky player has claimed a $44,000 prize after he scratched a winning 4-Way Bingo Instant ticket.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he hid the ticket in a drawer before claiming his prize. He plans to use the money to pay bills.

The lucky ticket was purchased at CVS Pharmacy 08055, 18340 Allen Rd., in Melvindale.

4-Way Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
