LANSING, June 2, 2008 – An anonymous Troy woman matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers from the May 25 drawing and won a $105,010 prize!

The lucky regular Lottery player didn't believe her good fortune – even after her brother looked at the ticket twice! After playing for "years", she will use her winnings for her daughter's college and pay bills.

The winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Abbey Wine & Liquor Shop, 25030 Southfield/10 Mile, in Southfield.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
