Harrison Township Woman Collects $35,000 Top Prize In Lottery's "Cashword" Instant Game!

LANSING, June 13, 2002 – A lucky Harrison Township lady found all the right words upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Cashword" instant ticket to win a $35,000 top prize!

The winning ticket was purchased at Lake Breeze Party Store, 36531 Jefferson Ave., in Harrison Township.

The lucky 52-year-old lady, who requested anonymity, said she kept the winning ticket in a utensil drawer in her home before turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights.

Though the winner said she has no specific plans for her winnings at this time, it is certain that she and her husband will enjoy their recent windfall!

"Cashword" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
