LANSING, June 17, 2002 – A lucky Stevensville woman recently purchased a very lucky Michigan Lottery "Double Feature" instant ticket! Upon scratching off the ticket she revealed a $500,000 top prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at Plaza Shell, 1691 M-139, in Benton Harbor.

The lucky lady, who requested anonymity, purchased the winning "Double Feature" ticket on her way home from work.

"I bought the "Double Feature" ticket and scratched it off right away," the winner said. "I could not believe my luck when the ticket I purchased turned out to be a $500,000 winner! I work the night shift, but when I got home I started calling my family members—even though it was the middle of the night!"

The 36-year-old lady, who plays Michigan Lottery games regularly, said she really enjoys playing the $10 instant games, because the payouts are high and she wins prizes frequently.

The winner said she plans to share her winnings with her family members, and that her first purchase will be a new car for her sister.

"Double Feature" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
