Federal Systems Change Grants for Community Living

Michigan was awarded over $3.5 million for three grants as part of President Bush's New Freedom Initiative.  The Real Choice Systems Change Grant, the Community-Integrated Personal Assistance Supports and Services Grant and the Nursing Home Transition Initiative are three year grants that started operation on October 1, 2001.
