Seed-borne pathogen tests for dry edible bean seed

Blight: Oct-Dec 15.......................................$15

Blight: Dec16-March 30................................$25

Mosaic: Oct 1-March 30...............................$10

Anthracnose: Oct 1-March 30.......................$30

Sample Sizes Required For Testing

Beans for disease testing shall consist of 5 lb. samples well packaged to prevent container breakage. Blight, mosaic and anthracnose testing is performed between October 1 and March 30 only.

Note: Chemically treated seed will not be accepted for blight testing.

Dry bean seed samples to be tested for bacterial blight, bean common mosaic virus and anthracnose may be brought or mailed to the laboratory at:
