Michigan Fish Advisory

Michigan provides many wonderful recreational opportunities to go fishing and enjoy its natural resources. Fish can be a healthy addition to your diet. Eating fish can help reduce the risk of heart disease. Fish are also a great source of protein, vitamins, and minerals that are important for children, pregnant women and adults. Some fish contain chemicals that can be harmful to you and your family if eaten too often. Check this information to find places to catch cleaner fish and for cleaning and cooking tips that help to remove harmful chemicals.
