In the summer and fall of 2006, the Michigan Arthritis Collaborative Partnership (MACP) completed a strategic planning process that culminated in a mission, vision and vision priorities.
Mission:
The Michigan Arthritis Collaborative Partnership is a broad-based, statewide alliance that leverages member resources and expertise to effectively reduce the impact of arthritis and related conditions.
Vision:
The Michigan Arthritis Collaborative Partnership is a dynamic and diverse alliance recognized for providing innovation and leadership dedicated to reducing the impact of arthritis and related conditions for all people in Michigan.
Vision Priorities:
Vision Priority #1 We expanded our "reach" in program participation
Vision Priority #2 We expanded awareness of the impact of arthritis and
Arthritis related conditions
Vision Priority #3 We created a sustainable structure for our partnership
Vision Priority #4 We filled in the gap in quality of and access to healthcare
professionals/providers
Vision Priority #5 We increased policy support for arthritis
Vision Priority #6 We secured sustainable and adequate financial resources
