This demonstration waiver is approved for five (5) years with an implementation date of July 1, 2006. This program will enable MDCH to provide family planning services to women who otherwise would not have medical coverage for these services.

• Modernizing Michigan Medicaid 1115 Waiver
MDCH to develop a section 1115 waiver to modernize Medicaid program.

• The mihealth card
The new plastic ID card for Medicaid, Emergency Medicaid, Childrens Special Health Care Services (CSHCS), and Adult Benefits Waiver (ABW) beneficiaries.

• Adult Benefits Waiver
Program will increase the number of individuals with health insurance coverage.
