This site provides information on
cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) that have been reported to the
Michigan Department of Community Health from health care facilities. Data for
three types of sexually transmitted diseases, divided into four groups, are
shown at this website: chlamydia, gonorrhea, primary and secondary syphilis (P&S
syphilis) and all syphilis. Information for these diseases is presently
available for the years 1993 through 2002. This information is divided into
tables for 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 only and for 1993-2002 trends by gender,
age, counties and health districts.
