CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION 5.07, PERFORMANCE-PAY PROGRAMS
|
Civil Service regulation 5.07, Performance-Pay Programs, is being issued to reflect changes to Standard C.8 with regard to fiscal year (FY) 07-08 limits. This provision which prohibits performance-pay increases to be awarded or approved is being extended from the previous September 30, 2007 ending date to October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008.
In addition, this regulation has been revised to reflect recent changes to the Civil Service rules. References to "the Department of Civil Service" have simply been replaced with "Civil Service" or "Civil Service Commission" as appropriate and, in most cases, "department(s)", when used in reference to state agencies, has been replaced with "agency or agencies".
In accordance with Standard C of Regulation 1.01, Issuance of Civil Service Regulations, the attached regulation is being issued with an effective date of October 1, 2007.
Questions regarding this regulation should be directed to Janet McClelland, Chief Deputy Director, Civil Service Commission, P.O. Box 30002, Lansing, Michigan, 48909.
