The
Civil Service Commission, Office of Employment Information and Career Planning Services,
has acquired a new career interest assessment tool. The assessment tool
can be used by employees to help identify their career goals and develop
action plans by improving awareness of their talents, interests, values
and preferences.
The assessment is
organized into easy-to-use segments to help employees determine their
interests, work values and skills, and then explore and analyze occupations
based on their self assessment. The tool provides easy-to-understand feedback.
The assessment can be completed in 1 ½ to 2 hours.
This new career planning tool is only available in our Lansing and Detroit offices. Staff will be available to provide access to the program. An appointment
is not required and there is no charge to use this service.
