06/06/07 - Public Partnership with the Department of Education

The Michigan Department of Education, working together with the public, can develop positive and useful education policy. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Mike Flanagan invites the public to be full partners in the education of Michigan's children. He uses the upcoming public hearings on proposed changes to the state's Special Education rules as an example of how simple communication can help clarify misunderstandings of the various issues we deal with on a daily basis.

Superintendent Flanagan's podcast is available on iTunes. To subscribe, go to the iTunes Store and search for Mike Flanagan. RSS feeds are also available for subscriptions to RSS readers and supported browsers.
