The Student Issues unit provides assistance to students, parents, school district personnel, community groups/citizens, and educational personnel in their efforts to ensure equity, fairness and equal opportunity for all kindergarten through twelfth-grade students. Information and counsel on student rights and responsibilities, available options, applicable laws, and suggestions on procedures are provided.
