MDOT to begin pavement repairs on I-75 in Monroe County next week

END DATE: Mid-November 2008

PROJECT: Starting next week, pavement repairs will begin on I-75. The work involves concrete pavement patching, along with joint and crack sealing, from the state line north to I-275.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: The right lane will be closed in five-mile segments during daylight hours along northbound and southbound I-75. At night, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the right and center lanes will be closed for repairs. There will also be double lane closures on weekends. Weekend closure dates will be announced at a later time. All work is expected to wrap up by the middle of November.
