• Traffic/Safety
  The need to perform rehabilitation and reconstruction on our road system network as traffic congestion continues to increase, maintaining work zone safety and mobility for both the motorist and our road workers has become an increasingly complex challenge. The Traffic and Safety Region Services Unit of the Construction and Technology Division assists in all aspects of work zones through development, delivery and operational functions to provide technical training and engineering support throughout the state. The unit also functions as the central liaison internally in order to improve interdepartmental communication and consistency as well as externally with our customers, industry and FHWA.
