The Michigan Office of Services to the Aging is your state resource for information on aging in Michigan. If you're an older adult, family member, or caregiver, here you can easily find and be referred to community programs available in your local area. Information to help people age successfully is also at your finger tips. If you work with or for older adults, you will find up-to-date information to help keep you professionally informed.

National Family Caregivers Month

Kinship Support
Kinship Support provide support services (which includes respite care, supplemental and education, support and training services) to an individual aged 60 or over is the primary caregiver for a child no more than 18 years old.
Caregiver Education, Support, and Training
Caregiver Education, Support, and Training is intended to provide assistance to caregivers in understanding and coping with a broad range of issues associated with caregiving.
Counseling Services
Counseling Services provides professional counseling to older adults and National Family Caregiver Support program eligible caregivers.
