Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program

Since 1984, the Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) has provided free education and personalized assistance to people with Medicare and Medicaid, their families and caregivers. At MMAP trained counselors work with you in reviewing a variety of services that you may need:
  • supplemental (Medigap) insurance evaluation and comparison
  • billing concerns
  • Medicare Health Plan options
  • long-term care insurance evaluation and comparison
  • Medicaid assistance, including application
  • Medicare appeals process
  • prescription drug assistance
  • suspected waste, fraud and abuse
