Since 1984, the Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) has provided free education and personalized assistance to people with Medicare and Medicaid, their families and caregivers. At MMAP trained counselors work with you in reviewing a variety of services that you may need:-
supplemental (Medigap) insurance evaluation and comparison
- billing concerns
- Medicare Health Plan options
- long-term care insurance evaluation and comparison
- Medicaid assistance, including application
- Medicare appeals process
- prescription drug assistance
- suspected waste, fraud and abuse
