On May 18, 2004, the Michigan Public Service Commission issued an Order in Docket No U-13774 modifying the procedures for arbitration and mediation. This Order allows for the use of non-staff arbitrators and mediators to assist with the resolution of disputes related to the Michigan Telecommunications Act (MTA) and broadband deployment under the Metropolitan Extension Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Oversight Act (METRO Act).

To assist with timely processing of petitions filed with the Commission, the Telecommunications Division is offering a list of individuals below who have expressed interest in serving as arbitrators and/or mediators for disputes that fall within U-13774 procedures.

This list is not intended to connote approval or endorsement of the listed individuals by the Commission or Commission Staff. It is the responsibility of the disputing parties to evaluate the competence of an arbitrator/mediator before agreeing to use his or her services.
