If you are a Command Officer, the temporary layoffs that are part of Executive Order 2009-22 will affect your Final Average Compensation when calculating your pension if the temporary layoff period occurs during the two-year period immediately preceding your last day of service. Your pension will be calculated based on the salary for those years of service. No adjustments will be made.

If you have ReliaStar life insurance premiums deducted from your pension, the scheduled October increase is reflected in your October pension payment. This increase is the second step of the increase that was announced in January.
