The Secretary of State offers fundraising license plates to raise money for Michigan's 15 state-supported universities, and the following causes: agricultural heritage, children, lighthouses, veterans, water quality, and wildlife habitat, the Northern Michigan Olympic Education Center, and a patriotic plate to benefit the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
