New Magistrate Docket Assignments

February 13, 2004

TO:         All Interested Litigants

FROM:  Crary “Rick” Grattan, Chief Magistrate

             Craig Petersen, Deputy Director

Based on Governor Granholm’s recent appointment of four new magistrates to the Workers’ Compensation Board of Magistrates, they have been assigned the following dockets.

NEW MAGISTRATE

DOCKET ASSIGNMENT

Chris Ambrose

Saginaw/Johnson docket (4 weeks)

Jack Nolish

Detroit/Burden docket (4 weeks)

Paul Reinhardt

Saginaw/Vacant docket (3 weeks)

Ann Arbor/Vacant docket (1 week)

Rosemary Wolock

Mt. Clemens/Rabaut docket (4 weeks)

The new magistrates are scheduled to start at their work locations on Tuesday, February 17th.  Because some weeks on the Reinhardt/Saginaw docket had few cases scheduled, cases were randomly reassigned from the Johnson/Ambrose docket to fill these dates.

Cases scheduled on the Reinhardt/Ann Arbor docket between now and March 5th will be handled by Magistrate Brennan but will remain Reinhardt files.  His first docket week in Ann Arbor will be the week of March 8th.  Cases scheduled during the weeks of March 15th, March 22nd and March 29th will remain on the dates scheduled but have been reassigned to Magistrate Brennan.

Magistrate Reinhardt’s Ann Arbor docket weeks will be the weeks of March 8th, April 5th, May 3rd, May 31st and June 28th.  Cases scheduled for hearings on the Vacant/Reinhardt docket during weeks he will not be in Ann Arbor will have to be rescheduled.  You should see Magistrate Reinhardt the week of March 8th to reschedule.
